SOLARIS
is a programme of artist residencies, founded by Anne-Sophie
Dinant and Benoit Doche de Laquintane in Bordeaux in 2015.
The
programme consists of one residency per year for invited artists.
It aims to support emerging and established artists from the
international art scene by enabling them to focus on specific
research and to develop new work during their time in the
city.
SOLARIS is a private structure initiated by the
Fonds de dotation DLD.
The Fonds de dotation
DLD has supported Benoît Maire's exhibition Thèbes at
CAPC musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux in 2018 and has
supported Alice Theobald's new film Il
y aura…, 2021
which emerged from her residency at SOLARIS.
